Our own team of mis-sold pension specialists at Get Claims Advice have continued their 2016 & 2017 winning-streak into 2018 by recovering over £31MILLION* from mis-sold SIPPs as of the 8th January 2018.

Quite the milestone, and all the more meaningful for our successful clients who now have the peace of mind they've earned by getting Get Claims Advice to facilitate a winning pension claim, with a highest compensation amount of £158,112,42* for one individual case to date.

*Figures correct as of 19th February 2018, calculated before the deduction of our Success Fee, charged at 24% Inclusive of VAT of any compensation earned.
*No Win - No Fee Basis: If Get Claims Advice is successful and you receive and offer of compensation you will be charged a success fee. If you choose to cancel your contract with Get Claims Advice after your 14-day-cooling-off period, you may be charged a cancellation fee, calculated per day on the amount of time spend on your case, capped at a maximum of £750.

Here’s how we did it!

It takes a little more than just grit and determination to win back over £32 Million* – we needed the knowledge of pensions and compensation to get the job done the best way we can. Once again, this comes down to our crack team of case handlers, all of which specialise in mis-sold pensions and investments. It’s what they do, day in, day out, giving them the skills to ensure our clients’ cases get the attention they deserve from the FSCS, FOS and potentially negligent IFAs.

Our team is built up around both individual and shared experience within the pensions or legal industries, making them a real force to be reckoned with. We've been pushing hard on every case we have, and each one adds more and more experience to our collective approach, meaning we often know just what to do when a new case comes in through the door, giving our clients the best chance we can of making their claim a success.

All this knowledge and experience has been spun into what we call our Claims Strategy - a defined but often flexible set of polished processes that takes our clients' claims from start to finish, efficiently and with the maximum effect in our aim to win back their pension - their income in retirement, removing some of their anxieties as they move towards the big day and enter into retirement more comfortably.

While each case is assessed on its own unique terms and assigned a dedicated case manager, our team doesn’t work in isolation. We’re constantly refining our methods and processes as a unit to ensure that we complete our claims in the shortest time possible without compromising on quality. We’ve gotten pretty good at it too, with more and more offers of compensation coming in each week.

We’re careful to select and train case handlers who have the right motivation: justice for our clients. From the moment we first pick up the phone to a new client, we’re already thinking about the moment we can ring them after months of hard work to tell them that they’ve won their pension back and can enjoy the prospect of retirement again. We fight hard for each client as an individual case, making sure we give everyone the best chance of making a successful claim.

To use an analogy, we don’t run like a sausage factory - one impersonal case after another. That’s why each case gets a dedicated case manager – a friendly point of contact whose job it is to get to know all they need to know about a client and to determine just HOW they have been mis-sold. Although professional, many of our case handlers have a warm relationships with worried our clients– all the more motivation for our team to fight hard.

So what's next?

We've loved hitting the £32 Million* mark on behalf of our clients, but a year from now we hope that this milestone looks insignificant next to our future 2018 accomplishments!

Get Claims Advice is on a mission to END PENSION MIS-SELLING, not just provide a cure for those that it's happened to.

Next year, we plan to win back even more for our clients, both new and old, and to set the wheels in motion for legislative and cultural change in the industry to STOP pension mis-selling for good.
